ABOUT ME
Having been brought up surrounded by theatre, I have always loved the sense of community around a production. I had an understanding of the performance process, which led me to be interested in the makings of theatre, and the way in which a piece evolves.
Performance design, for me, is as much about communication and discussion as it is about the aesthetics. Having done a fine art foundation at The Royal Drawing School, I find myself influenced by artistic movements, the use of colour and the interaction of shapes. I love the research and development that goes into supporting the foundations of a design, and working amongst a team on realising those productions has been a big part of my enjoyment of this course and theatre making as a whole.
